About Us

Heather is a second generation horse trainer with decades of extensive experience in horse health care, hunters, jumpers, and equitation, using a strong dressage base as a foundation. Heather has successfully shown at top National shows qualifying for nationals 6 consecutive years in a row as a pony hunter rider. Heather has also obtained top honors and awards at prestigious national shows as a professional rider and trainer as well.  She has coached multiple students into ribboning positions as national competitions.  

Heather has trained with a variety of professional trainers including Lynn Cartellone, Jeff Gogul, Joanne White, Farra Phillips-Hillyard, and Mike Rheinheimer. She has also attended numerous clinics, studying the concepts of George Morris, Susan Harris, Felicitous, John Roper, Frank Madden, Kyle King, Steve Heinecke, and Steve & Jenni Mcallister.  During 2006, 2007, & 2008 she served as the assistant coach for the Bucknell Equestrian Team as well as assistant trainer for Fox View Farm, training horses and riders of all levels under the leadership of Farra Phillips-Hillyard.

Heather and her staff are an experienced and enthusiastic group dedicated to producing well-rounded, effective and confident equestrians. Heather and her students attend monthly horse shows, as well as studying up on recent clinics, in order to keep current on the latest riding and teaching techniques to keep the horses seasoned and performing their best. She has attained a high skill level of riding and is able to school or reschool the greenest of horses.
